Bill Jones is a former student of Mike Bruce (original guitarist for Bob Seger) and Joesf Glaude. Primarily a blues guitarist, Bill is the main rhythm and acoustic guitar for Guitars Gone Wild and the Joesf Glaude Group. Bill is also the guitarist at his church.
Bill began playing with Joesf in the Spring of 2012. Joesf needed a rhythm guitarist for a gig at Jazz on The Plazz, a Summer Jazz event in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The two rehearsed briefly a week before the gig, finding a strong synergy between their playing. Bill was solid, handling each of Joesf's complex rhythms and chord structures with confidence and ease.
Jazz on the Plazz was a huge success, with several requests from new fans asking the band to return and several gigs being booked off the event that night. Pleased with the result, Joesf recruited Bill as his standing rhythm guitarist. For the last two years, Bill has been developing his soloing skills, hailed by some as "coming into his own," and finding his own unique melodic voice in Guitars Gone Wild and The Joesf Glaude Group.
